#960 should probably get implemented first so you have the bottom info/play/pause panel when searching too.
It would be very useful if you could play search results. For example many of my tracks still haven't the right metadata set so the artist is only in the filename, I then search for the artist to display all the tracks but I can only play a single track, instead of all of the search results. Please add a way (it could be the default behavior) to play search results.
Another thing that would be useful there is being able to multiselect as well as selecting all tracks of a search so you can add them to a playlist at once. That may be a separate issue.
