chore: add README, LICENSE, expand .gitignore for standalone repo

Replace the in-monorepo draft README with a user-facing quick-start
targeting brew/go install. Add MIT LICENSE (kanywst 2026). Extend
.gitignore with .DS_Store, dist/, .env and runtime data files.
