How do we run a one time task and a custom task based on Cron expression?

I see that a cron expression can be passed only for Recurring tasks and not other tasks. Is there we can do the same for one time task and custom task as well?

I think the first question is why you would want that, what is your use-case? (somehow not a recurring task, yet still the need for a schedule?)
