Problem

When in a notebook-only workspace, the user may not understand how to rearrange the layout in a side-by-side view (dashboard right alongside notebook). They may not know how to add outputs to their dashboards easily before rearranging workspace.

Solution

• When in notebook-only view, drag and hover output cells over the dashboard tab to bring dashboard tab in view. The user will then be able to drop their outputs onto the dashboard.

• When in dashboard-only view, add "workspace rearrange" button to automatically bring notebook and dashboard side-by-side.

Alternative solution

Automating a side-by-side view upon launch of a new dashboard or notebook.
