Deprecate fail(), assertTrue(boolean), assertFalse(boolean), and similar assertions that do not produce helpful error messages.

I find fail() to be useful as the absolute minimum a placeholder before writing more specific assertions.

Would it be possible to keep fail()? By giving it helpful default message? Something that communicates the test failed for an unspecified reason?

Wouldn't it be better to use fail("TODO") or something like that in such cases?
