Feature: in report, show a period of week by week number

I can do klog report -a week to show totals aggregated by week, but then I'd like to drill down and see days of the chosen week. Currently I need to check start and end dates of the week in a calendar (if showing week numbers is available and enabled).

To the list of available date filters in klog report add --week=number to filter entries within that week, as a shortcut for --since and --until.

klog really has everything it's supposed to 😅

You are not the first person not to find this directly, though, so I’m wondering what could be done to make the --period filter more discoverable. Any thoughts and ideas would be welcome here.

By the way, something that’s also not documented yet is that you can abbreviate to klog report -a w to save a few keystrokes. This works for all options (i.e., day, month, quarter and year).

I don't know how to help users like me, who don't read the fine manual. I just literally underestimate the work you've put into the project, and don't expect these things to be there. It's also not as popular as it deserves, so I can't just "ask the internet", like I can with system tools. I don't mean to fawn, but you did a really great job here.

Actually there is one nice-to-have feature that klog seems not to support: multiple --aggregate options to get subtotals

Just to clarify, how would that look? Do you mean like a tabular/multi-column output format?
