See Table of Fediverse replacements.

A few that were recently suggested to me, Lotide and Pinetta, don't have a dedicated page on joinfediverse.wiki.

I think Lemmy in particular would be worth adding to the "If you like... Reddit/HN" row of the table - since it's second in user/server count only to Mastodon (going by https://fediverse.observer/)

Hi @josephrocca, thank you for the suggestion! Please see the FAQ on why Lemmy was removed.

I can't see the devs having as much control over the platform as I think you and some others do (relative to the community in general, and server admins in particular, for example), and it does seem a shame given that Lemmy seems to be "taking off" and might be our one shot (at least for a while) at breaking Reddit's grip over that type of community/software, but despite the disagreement, I respect that it's your site and you're making the call based on what you think is best for the fediverse in the long term.

Thank you, I appreciate your understanding.

I know there are some instances that distance themselves from the original developer. I am now thinking, it might make sense to perhaps list a few instances for each platform. That way I could include Lemmy while steering people away from the most problematic instances that use it.

Let me give this some more thought.

(You've likely already heard about it, but just in case - this has been really useful to me for researching instances: https://lemmyverse.net - includes uptime, activity, etc.)

I did not, but this is very useful, thank you!
