Any plans on adding this into the Jbang ecosystem to increase the adoption?

Yup

I had a play/test locally by creating a j2p folder and adding a jbang-catalog.json,

Then ran: jbang app install j2p. Then j2p to use - simples.

On your project repo place jbang-catalog.json in root I think is the convention, then there is crawler process that would pick this up and will be available in this lot: https://www.jbang.dev/appstore/

Once I did this I nearly used j2p to create the java pojos for jbang-catalog.json :-)
