Hi @mrvicadai, glad you like it! 😄 File paths are shown relative to the workspace directory, so you can see where the current buffer is located. I might be missing something, though; let me know if there's something more subtle you're after. I'd eventually like to implement a very simple file browser, to help folks find files when they don't know their name off-hand, as well as create new files/directories, but my first instinct was to make it full-screen/modal, rather than a side panel. 🙂 |

If I could throw in my two cents as a recent (and excited) convert, I'd prefer it if we did not have side nav. What I find incredibly refreshing about amp is the sense that the UX is curated. Things with high implementaitonal/UX complexity (often because of expectations created by other apps) and which furthermore speak to needs that are more or less met elsewhere seem intrinsically less exciting than opportunities for more of what (in my opinion) amp does best: innovating without bloviating. |
Just started using amp today, and so far
amp
is doing a great job with all of the feature it provides!One thing I'm missing is the ability to look at the directory tree and know where the current file lies. Is this a planned feature or more suited for a Plugin?
