how to toggle subtitle visibility?

i'm trying to add (toggle subtitle) with a simple button, basically hiding the subtitles or showing the subtitle, how can i do that? i tried to change subtitlesConfiguration in runtime but it's all final, and there's no functions to toggle the subtitle as far as i know

this is how i did it, i hope someone enlighten us with a cleaner way

//make a copy of the current subtitles source, because when we toggle it, the subtitlesSource data will be gone
