Obtaining the average marginal effects?

Hello,

I'm estimating a multinomial logit model, and this package is so easy to use! There is no need to pre-format the data set, and it offers lots of options.

However, it does not give me the average marginal effects (AME). Existing packages (e.g., marginaleffects: https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/marginaleffects/index.html) do not seem to support logitr objects. Is there any way to obtain the AMEs with logitr objects?

A couple years ago we did have a conversation, see here. I never followed up though to learn more about how {marginaleffects} works in detail to add support for this. Part of the challenge is the data structure (long format). Things may have changed though. In any case, I have several other pressing projects that are taking my attention now (namely surveydown), so digging into supporting this will have to wait for the time being. If anyone wants to send a PR implementing it, I'll gladly review it.
