Inline <style> blocks in HTML files are stripped #11246

Hello! I updated my Hakyll configuration the other day to get the recently-merged skylighting support for Racket and Zig. Looking into the versions, this was a jump from Pandoc 3.1.11.1 all the way to Pandoc 3.8.2.1.
This update broke some of my pages, as inline <style> blocks on HTML pages now appear to be stripped when used with a template. Was this an intentional change? Is it configurable somewhere, or should I look into some sort of header-metadata workaround? I went looking through the tracker, but couldn't find anything about it, so thought I'd ask. Thanks 😃
