Comparison with SOPS

Hi, I stumbled upon this project.
It looks really great.
However, I'm wondering how it compares to SOPS.

sops is more of a tool for interacting with secret files where fnox is more about setting up your environment with secrets via things like the shell hook. fnox also supports remote storage like 1password.

are there any plans on supporting encrypted files in fnox? For example, we use git-crypt for both .env and various dev files like certs/private keys for running local servers. fnox solves the .env problem, but not files. Could continue using git-crypt for that or sops of course, but would be nice to just use 1 tool.
