reconstruction accuracy in depth estimation

I appreciate your great work and i have some question regarding reconstruction of my own data
here is my steps:

1. i take some pictures[15 images different azimuth and same elevation] with my phone of a small think object (2cm(width) * 7cm(height) * 0.5cm (depth)). this object has non-uniform surface with some depression on it.
2. I set the initial cube as normalized cubic considering the object size.
3. although the model could reconstruct the whole geometry of my object, it could not reconstruct the details of the surface is there any modification that i may apply to reconstruct those roughness on the surface
