Adding Coupon-Series

Hello,
i miss the feature to add some series of Coupons. This could be very good, if you cooperate with groupon for example, where you can sell a amound of coupons.

Isn't it possible to do it by yourself with a little bit of sql magic? I didn't look up the files but you should be able to add coupons manually and set a random string for the coupon code, right?
