Observed behaviour
-
If two portals are set in roughly the same location, entering them will clear the player's inventory and send them back to their spawn point. Items will disappear, unlike other entities where the portal destroys itself (oddly, spellbooks and items in the Curois inventory will not disappear).
-
Divine Smite will not drop experience points if it kills an enemy mob in one hit. To make it drop experience points, the player must first deal damage in any way before killing the mob with the spell.
Expected behaviour
-
If a player enters an overlapping portal, the portal should self-destruct. This is because sometimes quickly switching spells can cause the game to misrecognize the switch, resulting in accidental spell casting.
-
When a player kills a mob with a Divine Smite, they should normally receive experience points.
Steps to reproduce
-
I've recreated it in my own single-player world, but for some reason, I can't recreate it in another world (I know this probably won't help, but I really tried).
-
Attack a mob you've never attacked before with a very high-level Divine Smite. The Divine Smite must be at a level that can one-shot them.
