This is from a notification I received: "@st 😊 /me is in love the simple things! But there's an issue with placing the cursor in the input field on iOS - the text doesn't scroll!"

The "'" isn't really that great.

I'm assuming this issue originates with the incoming message - @pschirmacher?

From the statuses atom feed:

@& lt;a href=& apos;/statuses/updates?author=st& apos;& gt;st& lt;/a& gt; <U+1F60A> /me is in love the simple things! But there& amp;apos;s an issue with placing the cursor in the input field on iOS - the text doesn& amp;apos;t scroll!

Feedworker reads this as:

@st <9F><98><8A> /me is in love the simple things! But there& apos;s an issue with placing the cursor in the input field on iOS - the text doesn& apos;t scroll!

(added spaces after &s)

Wild guess: Is the escape-html necessary here? https://github.com/innoq/statuses/blob/master/src/statuses/views/atom.clj#L26

Well, when I look at https://intern.innoq.com/statuses/updates?format=atom, I can see <content type="html">@&lt;a href=&apos;/statuses/updates?author=st&apos;&gt;st&lt;/a&gt; 😊 /me is in love the simple things! But there&amp;apos;s an issue with placing the cursor in the input field on iOS - the text doesn&amp;apos;t scroll!</content> which doesn't have the extra spaces! Could that be a parsing error/ missing decode in feedworker? My RSS-Reader recognizes and displays the apostrophe correctly.

I'll close this in favor of innoq/statuses#110 - let's discuss it over there.
