"You can not not have a platform." In jeder Organisation gibt es eine Plattform, die interessante Frage ist ob sich der ist-Zustand der Plattform mit dem deckt, was für die Organisation am effektivsten ist. Als Illustration könnte man die Axes des Maturity Modells nehmen und Fragen, wo man steht zwischen "da passiert halt irgendwas" und "perfekter Platformisierung" und ob das ok ist.
