it seems that the scrolling with 1k buffers through the mail causes problems if the body-tag is split in two different buffer. Under this condition the program doesn't find the ">".
sorry, the reason for this issue is not the 1k - buffer. There ist a \n in the body tag and the buffer reads to that. If the > is in another buffer the problem occurs...
