Question: how to use settings download in a different codec

I am not sure how to use the "custom youtube-dl format" and raw options setting.

I want to download video as h264 and audio as m4a (-S vcodec:h264,res,acodec:m4a) but not sure how to go about it. I tried various combinations of text in both the customee youtube-dl format and raw options but either it broke loading of the video altogether or it did nothing, as far as I could tell.
