What version of python is installed?
In the terminal, type
python
then enter

Thank you for the quick response.
installed is Python 3.13 "C:\Users\hp\Downloads\python-3.13.0-amd64.exe"
additionally, i did not see the Pfolder. i thought it would reflect after successfully installing Python.

when i asked google to download Python, it brought Python 3.13 and i thought it was ok. apologies am new to this field but i want to learn.

Guten Morgen, python 3.13 is fine, but the GDAL you downloaded is for python 3.12 😊
