Setup a Linux Environment

• Install Ubuntu 16.0.4 VM - VirtualBox

  • USB Support

  • Shared Folder (between Win10 & VM)

  • QZ Tray

  • NOTES: When you are creating the virtual machine name, I highly recommend placing (64-bit) at the end of the name. You may end up having both a 32-bit and a 64-bit Ubuntu 16.0.4 virtual machine, and adopting this naming convention has helped me

  • Take a snapshot of the virtual machine when it is powered on for the first time. This will allow you to rollback the machine to a clean state for testing in the future.

Install a WAMP Stack

• Install wampserver (ref guide here)
  • Load local host
  • Copy the demo folder to the root directory
  • Test the sample demo
