Install package is failing with python 3.12 environment on Mac

Dear Team,

I have a python 3.12 environment. I am endeavouring to install HEBO as recommended by a course I am studying. I get a message AttributeError: module 'pkgutil' has no attribute 'ImpImporter'. Did you mean: 'zipimporter'? reading round potential solutions to this didn't get me to a working solution but did highlight that the ImpImporter is now not included the current pip install versions as it has been deprecated for some time. Please can you assist as to how I might install your HEBO package.

Hello, sorry HEBO has not been tested and developed yet for python 3.12 so I would advise trying a version of python <3.12 for now.
Let us know if you encounter some problem with earlier version of python as well.

This issue comes from the old version of numpy installing, which is a dependency of hebo. To install with python 3.12, I use the following steps.

First, install hebo without dependencies:

pip install --no-deps --no-build-isolation hebo

Then, install dependencies of hebo manually.

pip install numpy
pip install pandas
pip install pymoo
pip install disjoint_set
pip install gpytorch
...

Maybe there are some version conflict warnings during the installation, but it works in my environment.
