PPSSPP compatibility issue between Ubuntu and Android

I am trying to play Tekken 6 using PPSSPP 1.18.1 on both devices . My laptop using zorin 17.2 (ubuntu 22.04 LTS) and Android Phone. ISO file is download is same . I've downloaded it on pc and then copied to android . Issue is me and my friend plays online using Zerotier VPN both on Android works fine but when i try to play on wifi it doesn't work.

1. I tried with WIFI as well as using zerotier on ubuntu.
2. It prompts Network Initialized in the battle lobby on both devices. But only chat is working i can't see the other player there.
3. set port 5000 then changed to 10000 nothing works .
4. Only works between android to android.

I have also tried using the third phone as hotpsot connected both playing devices to that and it also worked same only chat is possible and prompts network initialised not seeing each other.

What should happen

It should be compatible between ubuntu and android over wifi.

Chat feature is not related to the game's network communication, being able to chat doesn't mean that the game's ports didn't get blocked, it only meant that you're connected to the same Adhoc Server.

May be firewall issue on Linux.
Have you tried using the built-in Adhoc Server on Linux instead of on Android to test whether it's firewall blocking the port?
if it's firewall issue, players won't be able to connect to adhoc server on linux, which mean the game won't work either if their ports got blocked.
