While this may be a temporary issue with the custom tileserver that TM is using, with the wide range of options out there I'm wondering why not give the task's admin the ability to use their own tile source? Some projects might benefit from being able to load up a specific tile source, like, say someone customizes a mapbox tileset to highlight particular features, and that helps participants decide which areas to prioritize.
Requesting a feature to allow the task's admin to change the tile source.
And for now, as a workaround, could we set the tile source to default OSM? http://{s}.tile.openstreetmap.org/{z}/{x}/{y}.png
(I tried putting this in the Edit section > Imagery tab but couldn't get it to work)
As of 29 Oct'17, Tiles not loading again (seems there was an issue like this raised 2 years back, #701) for western India, for zoom level deeper than state-view) Here are a couple of error'd URLs:
