Authorisation revoked, old frontend loaded #4856
Comments
This is an odd issue. Are you also seeing this in a browser on your phone? Are you logging in using username/password, or something else like trusted networks? |
Using U/P. Not seeing the exact same thing in a browser, but sometimes when this happens in the app, an old version of the frontend also loads in the browser. More context: Logging into HA using nabu casa url with my android app gives me a Authorisation revoked message |
When you say "Logging into HA using nabu casa url with my android app", do you mean you have to enter credentials every time? Or are you just opening the app? The app does not interact with the supervisor so not completely sure why this is a fix. Have you restarted Home Assistant itself (core) already? |
Well, now I'm unable to log in through the app at all. Not using nabu casa url, not using local IP and I just tried setting up duckdns and that does not work either. |
New information: So i've set up duckdns now and it seems like no matter what url I use to connect to my homeassistant instance through the app I'm logged out everytime i restart HA. I then need to define the server again and log in. When I log in i get the message "it appears that you authorisation was revoked, please reconnect to homeassistant". So this is ONLY through the app, not using a browser. |
Additional information: To log in again i needed to force stop the app, clear all data, uninstall, reboot phone and before logging in again, delete the phone from the app integration, clear all refresh tokens. |
Ok, so I've narrowed it down more: This definitely only happens when the client public IP changes. So for example this was working fine yesterday after updating to a new version of Home Assitant. Leave my house, auth revoked. |
Were you ever running HA on another device on your network such as a NAS or VM which might have inadvertently started up again? |

Everytime I try to connect to my instance through my nabu-casa url im getting an error: “it appears you authorisation was revoked, please reconnect to home assistant”
I then need to restart my supervisor to log in again. When i log in it loads an old version of my frontend.
