gocloc --version print blank

steps to reproduce

1. install the tool shell go install github.com/hhatto/gocloc/cmd/gocloc@latest
2. execute gocloc --version
3. output ()

[nicholasss]

I cloned the repository and was able to see the same output, just using the following:

go run cmd/gocloc/main.go --version

[nicholasss]

The version displaying code seems to have been added quite some time ago with commit fd85b04, but I cannot seem to see where the version variable would be loaded with information. It seems to just be printing string zero-vals.
