Quantity API support - value and unit attributes

The quantity API is proposing Quantity.value and Quantity.unit attributes for pints magnitude and units. To support the API we would have to add these attributes. Are there any objections to adding these?

@hgrecco , @jules-ch , what are your thoughts on this? The lack of response on this is preventing any progress on the quantity API at the moment.

Apologize for the delay, I did not see the previous ping. I have tried many times to make bridges and avoid work duplication. So I am ok with anything that goes in that direction. What I would suggest is to avoid breaking things for current pint users. So add alias to current attributes, do not rename.

Same goes for me.
It should be easy enough to add a value alias for the magnitude.

I'm all for a common super simple API and a protocol for dunder methods supported for the Quantity class
