I suggest opening a different issue for each mapper (unless they're closely related like all the VRC2/4 ones), maybe mention a few significant games using each.

I took a quick look and it seems like most of these have only a very few games associated with them, so they're pretty far down on my list. I welcome patches if someone else wants to try, and I'm happy to help debug if you get stuck.

  • 68 (Sunsoft-4, Afterburner) is likely the simplest
  • 228 (Action 52, Cheetahmen II) shouldn't be too bad (though the odd PRG ROM size might take some special handling)
  • 65 (Irem H3001) needs a CPU cycle counting IRQ timer, probably can use the same basics as mapper 19 or 69, but exactly how these trigger and latch can be tricky
