Proof Artifacts

This document is the canonical index of Scriveno's proof layer. It points to concrete artifacts a prospective user can inspect when asking whether Scriveno's claims are earned by the repo.

Start Here

  • Read Quick Proof if you want one 10-minute route through installation checks, demo inspection, runtime command shapes, next, draft, review, and save.
  • Read First-Run Proof if you want the committed transcript artifact for /scr:first-run, scriveno first-run --project ., runtime smoke, and the demo flow.
  • Read the Watchmaker Sample Flow if you want one end-to-end writing workflow from setup through drafts, review, and next step.
  • Read Voice DNA if you want the shortest possible proof of how style guidance changes output on the same brief.
  • Read Creative Context if you want to see one craft choice travel through discuss, plan, draft, and review artifacts.
  • Read Versatility Paths if you want curated routes for technical, sacred, visual, translation, and publishing workflows after the flagship proof path.
  • Read Proof Badges if you want each major claim labeled by evidence level: shipped, install-tested, artifact-proven, replay-tested, host-capture-ready, host-captured, or external-tool-dependent.

Showcase Proof Bundles

These bundles make the range inspectable without making every path compete with the first-run proof.

Bundle What it proves Canonical artifact
Technical Flow Reader-state movement, procedures, validation, rollback, and source boundaries for runbooks data/proof/technical-flow/README.md
Sacred Commentary Flow Tradition-native surfaces, source care, sacred register, and doctrinal review before publishing data/proof/sacred-flow/README.md
Visual Flow Comic-native page rhythm, panel layout, art handoff, and visual review before asset production data/proof/visual-flow/README.md
Translation And Publishing Flow Glossary, memory, back-translation, front/back matter, prepublish review, and package gating data/proof/translation-publishing-flow/README.md

Each bundle includes a state snapshot, representative plan, representative draft or output artifact, and a next-command continuation. They are proof of workflow shape and evidence discipline, not a claim that every possible project in that domain has been exhaustively verified.

Replay-Tested Proofs

Scriveno now has a small replay layer for the claims that should be more than inspectable prose:

Watchmaker Sample Flow

What it proves: Scriveno ships one credible writing workflow from setup context through drafted outcome, review evidence, and next-step continuity.

Canonical artifact: data/proof/watchmaker-flow/README.md

Underlying shipped files:

Start with the proof bundle if you want the curated version. Follow the underlying files if you want to inspect the raw sample directly.

First-Run Proof

What it proves: Scriveno has an executable first-run guide and committed transcript artifacts for the first proof path.

Canonical artifact: data/proof/first-run/README.md

Related parity artifact: data/proof/runtime-parity/README.md

Voice DNA

What it proves: Scriveno's style-guide layer changes draft behavior in visible ways when the same brief is written unguided versus guided.

Canonical artifact: data/proof/voice-dna/README.md

Artifact bundle:

Read the bundle in order if you want to inspect sentence rhythm, metaphor selection, dialogue restraint, and physical grounding at the same time.

Creative Context

What it proves: Scriveno can preserve craft choices, character behavior, and subject movement across the core writing loop without adding labels to manuscript prose.
