Software tuning/synchronization failure with firmware 2026.01.2

What issue are you facing?

Tuning failure/PLL lock when trying to use after updating to 2026.01.2 with (tested) SDR Console and GQRX. The symptoms are dead spectrum, PLL drift, it stabilizes after changing frequencies several times,

What are the steps to reproduce this?

It is not a temperature stabilization, i have checked the hardware (thermal, crystal, etc.) It happens also with the previous firmware 2026.01.1.
I just tried reverting to 2024.02.1 and so far the problem is not reported also it was tried going back and back to the latest version.

Can you provide any logs? (output, errors, etc.)

This appears to also be happening here as well.

I am using a TCXO module on a HackRF One from OpenSourceSDRLab

SDR Console is using older libhackrf would that cause the problem here or no?

I believe this was fixed in #1658 and release 2026.01.3. There is still a small probability of PLL lock failure due to a separate concurrency bug that we are still working on, but those failures should be fairly rare and easily corrected by re-starting or re-tuning.

@senfield Does 2026.01.3 firmware fix this for you?
