Hello,

After updated Unity to 6000.4.4f1
I got a build failed with an exception below.

There is no issue with 6000.4.3f1

Unity version:
6000.4.4f1 or 6000.4.5f1

Library version:
Google Mobile Ads for Unity 11.0.0

I confirm the same error and also with both 6000.4.4f1 or 6000.4.5f1. I can also confirm that the build works when reverting to 6000.4.2f1.

We have been unable to build our project for over a week now due to this issue. This is a critical bug, and I believe it needs to be addressed as soon as possible. We really can't afford to wait any longer. Does anyone here know of a workaround or a fix for this while we wait for an official update?

I tried all possible changes I could think of (editing gradle files, changing AdMob from unitypackage install to OpenUPM, etc. The only workaround for me was to downgrade my unity project to 6000.4.2.

Go to the .androidlib folder, open the AndroidManifest.xml and delete "package="com.google.unity.ads".

Then create a file called build.gradle inside the .androidlib folder and put this code inside:

apply plugin: 'com.android.library'

android {
namespace "com.google.unity.ads.manifest"
compileSdk 34

defaultConfig {
    minSdk 23
}

sourceSets {
    main {
        manifest.srcFile 'AndroidManifest.xml'
    }
}

the reason is not only this, yes we need build.gradle inside in .androidlib but we have two things doing the same job. I solved this problem by removing the googlemobileads-unity.aar and its meta file in Android folder.
