Problem: Shiny doesn't support plain HTTP. May need a different wrapper for the R code.

Also, an issue is that it would be nice to store the map file on the server rather than uploading it every time.

Not sure if there is any issue with storing map files on GCE (if we run on GCE). GCE is accessible from Borg, while Ganeti isn't.
