chat history getting truncated or erased after a certain point of conversations

What happened?

chat history getting truncated or erased in CLI.

• the chat logs/input is present at .gemini/tmp//logs.json
• deleted from .gemini/tmp//chats/

What did you expect to happen?

I was thinking maybe I have erased the chats, but after closer inspection I don't think I ever tried to delete by mistake, as I don't know yet how to do

• Seesion seems to be gone, after an resume with auth failure #21311
• Unable to resume session after just closing it and copying very session ID ; session gone (probably never recorded) ! (Multiple times) #24532
