Can you please stablize on your configuration file

In the last 6-8 months, I've had to structure my config file several times between version 1.2 and 1.6 and now again moving to v2, which sure is understandable.

Can we get a consensus or some form of stable configuration structure, like only major versions break the config format.

The configuration structure has always been stable:

• v1 never changed: we only deprecated some options.
• v2 never changed (but as expected by a major version, the configuration is different than v1)
