Hello All -

I'm new to GoLang and I'm looking forward to making some effective contributions to the GoLang Community.

This my first time here. And it looks there are not many activities going on here, since 2017. I could help structure the ReadMe.md and guide new contributors as myself get started.

Please, I look forward to being part of the community and see our we collaborate and scale it together.

Thank you 🙌🙌

Hey @codeekage! I can't speak to the CWG status, but I can recommend a few places to explore.

The community wiki is packed full of information on how and where to participate, including the full list of community activities.

I recommend starting with either the Slack channel if you prefer real-time discussions or the forum if you prefer async.

The most important resource I've found to help get me into a language/community is the local meetup scene. There are a ton of options, so hopefully you can connect with other Nigerians getting involved in the community!

I hope that gets you on the right track - good luck 👋
