The Develop docs do not state how SDKs should handle the case where the incoming sample_rand is invalid.

Suggested Solution

Write that SDKs should treat invalid incoming sample_rand values as if the sample_rand value was missing. See https://github.com/getsentry/projects/issues/316#issuecomment-2633693095
