Adding missing effects (writer and state) ? zio interop ?

I'm using zpure (https://zio.github.io/zio-prelude/docs/zpure/) for a generalized event sourcing project. Kyo would be a very interesting (more efficient) alternative but I didn't see writer effect. Are there any doc, guidelines or material somewhere to add effects. It would be fun to work on that during Christmas holidays.
Also there used to be a zio interop project but can't find it anymore. Any recommendations to interop with ZIO from the latest kyo version ?

I'm not very familiar with ZPure but I'll have a crack at answering this.

First of all Kyo has come a long way since you asked this. There is a kyo-prelude module which probably has most of the things you need. There is also some limited ZIO interop in kyo-zio.

ZPure[W, S1, S2, R, E, A] is probably closest to A < (Emit[W] & Var[S] & Env[R] & Abort[E]). In term of state, Var[S] is not a transformation but rather it is the current state which should be sufficient for most cases.

If you end up using Kyo please share how your experience is.
