Piwigo Photo Album Widget

I have an instance of Piwigo and would love to see album stats on my homepage. Piwigo has an API and can get album stats easily.

I'd be happy to help create this widget, but as per the guidelines we need 20 upvotes first. I could just make it personally but thought I'd check to see if there are others that would appreciate a Piwigo widget.
