Select/adjust map size

Hello, is there a way to select or adjust skirmish/multiplayer map size somehow?

No, sorry. This is not possible at the moment.

Do you want to have smaller or larger maps?

Dune II supports the following map sizes:

• 21 x 21 tiles: not actually used at all.
• 32 x 32 tiles: only used for the first 2 campaign missions.
• 62 x 62 tiles: used for all other campaign missions as well as skirmish/multiplayer.

Adding support for the smaller maps to skirmish/multiplayer might not be a big problem. But i assume you would like larger and not smaller maps, since 62 x 62 can become pretty crowded with 6 players?

Unfortunately that might be a bigger endeavour, since the engine does not support it at the moment. But maybe i'll take a look at it in the future.

Yep, it would be nice to have larger maps for multiplayer, like 128 x 128 tiles. Thank you for eventually spending some time on it.
