History sharing across servers

We of the Community Board were discussing, now that the Galaxy Labs subdomain situation works so well to enable a central 'source of truth' for generating subdomains, it is vital that are able to share data (especially histories) across servers as well.

Can this be made possible, so that our global users can collaborate together effectively?

I totally support this !
For instance, I hope to be able to build an earth system lab (or subdomain) on Galaxy France one day for the earth french community. But I can imagine that some European earth scientist want to be able to follow up on Galaxy Europe what has been done within an history of the french instance (or the other way around).
This would be a great improvement for the communities I think !
