Format code exactly like IntelliJ IDEA?

Motivation

I'd like using VS Code to work on Kotlin projects instead of IntelliJ IDEA. But that's not the case for my co-workers.
When formatting code, I get different results from my co-workers, which is a problem.

Description

Is there a way to have the same formatting as in IntelliJ IDEA?
We're using the official kotlin style there.

Brilliant idea, I would also love to be able to import .xml codestyle files.

Pretty cool idea, but I'm wondering if it's actually possible to integrate this without invoking IntelliJ itself.

I think if you cast this issue/request/idea as a client operation using KLS to implement an LSP specified interface, it is very appropriate, otherwise not so much. Is it common for Language Servers to chart their own paths with orthogonal features not baked into the protocol?
