`json.decoder.JSONDecodeError` when running GithubFileSystem on pyodide/wasm

Cross posting this here, ran into json.decoder.JSONDecodeError when using fsspec in marimo html-wasm:
marimo-team/marimo#7422

Not sure whether this has to do with the marimo's html-wasm export or whether there is something in fsspec.
