New item price not working properly

Information about bug

I have had this problem a long time and i have figured out what causes it.
When adding a new item in for example a quotation items list, he popup opens and i enter everything normally and press enter after entering the price, then the price quickly goes to zero before the popup closes and the price is not saved in the items list.
However if i press the save button with the mouse it will enter the price into the item list automatically.

It's just an annoying bug to deal with everyday since i have entered over 5000 items over the last few years

Using firefox newest version on windows 11

self hosted bench install

Installed Apps
Frappe Framework: v16.4.0 (version-16)
ERPNext: v16.3.0 (version-16)
Frappe HR: v16.2.0 (version-16)

Problem have been the same in versions 14 and 15 aswell

simply pressing enter:

deselecting the price box then going back and pressing enter changes the format of the number as you can see and then it works:

i dont know if it matters but the prices i add is with tax included. not the default without tax included

Have you made Standard Selling Rate a mandatory field?

you mean in form item? i think it was like this by default. dont think i changed it
