Next steps after playground

So we've created a playground and imported some transactions via the Java SDK. Presuming we like what we've seen so far, what would be the next step(s) to set up a proper Cloud? Also, am I correct in assuming that the limit of 1000 that we've hit is a sandbox thing and not a rate limitation?
