• Identify the CLI, config, protocol, packaging, infra, or documentation changes needed.
• Split obviously oversized follow-up work into child issues if this roadmap item is too broad for one change.
• Implement the first shippable slice, or produce a concrete design/prototype if the item is still exploratory.
• Add tests and docs for any shipped user-facing behaviour.

Acceptance Criteria

• This roadmap item has a concrete implementation or design path rather than remaining only a bullet in docs/ROADMAP.md.
• Any shipped surface area is covered by appropriate tests and documentation.
• Follow-up issues are created for deferred work if the full roadmap item must be split.
• The item is ready to be picked up by an engineer with a clear next step.
