Cannot open previously added pdf

Describe the bug
I have added several pdf and made flashcards from them. After that, I clicked "Done" and closed the app. When I reopen the app, I cannot access the previously added pdfs from the Queue Manager or Quick Open dialog. This is despite the fact that the pdfs that I added are available in the specified file directories.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to SIAC and click "Quick open" or "Queue Manager"
2. Try Searching for previously uploaded pdfs on Quick Open and Que Manager.

Expected behavior
Ideally, the title of the pdf should be available for selection.
