Anki wont let me upload PDF into notes section

Describe the bug
The add on 1781298089 will not let me add a pdf anymore. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted, downloaded a newer version of anki, nothing works,

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to: Notes
2. Click on: + new
3. Scroll down: source --> pdf --> then you choose your pdf on your computer
4. It will not allow me to select: create and keep open and then it does not show where it is in the: PDF notes section

Expected behavior
I want to upload my notes again so I can attach them to my cards.

Can’t Replicate this issue

Version ⁨2.1.57 (5cdfa7a6)⁩ (even when was on 2.1.56, it was working fine)
Python 3.9.15 Qt 6.3.2 PyQt 6.3.1
MacOS: 13.1 (22C65)

It will not allow me to select: create and keep open

@medschool2026 could you try with only the "Searching, PDF Reading & Note-Taking in Add Dialog” enabled?

it does not show where it is in the: PDF notes section

Notes -> Newest or Random or Search
