How to exclude surround space from keyword from highlighting?

How to exclude surround space from keyword from highlighting? E.g. the i here looks hard to read with the space before it colored.

I played around with the regex but was not successful. I'm using the default config but with [this change](https://github.com/folke/todo-comments.nvim/issues/ ↪ 80#issuecomment-1082469859) to eliminate the need for a colon after the keyword being necessary.

Also might be interested in a way to only highlight the keyword and the rest of the text as well.
