Description

@Roshanjossey

🎯 Goal
Translate English alt text to Moroccan Arabic in the README translation to improve accessibility for Moroccan Arabic speakers.

🐞 Problem
The Moroccan Arabic translation has images with English alt text, which makes the content less accessible to Moroccan Arabic speakers using screen readers and other assistive technologies.

πŸ’‘ What needs to be done
Translate all English alt text to Moroccan Arabic in the tutorial images. You can find the file at:
https://github.com/firstcontributions/first-contributions/blob/main/docs/translations/README.ma.md

Common English alt text that needs translation:

  • "fork this repository" β†’ translate to Moroccan Arabic
  • "clone this repository" β†’ translate to Moroccan Arabic
  • "copy URL to clipboard" β†’ translate to Moroccan Arabic
  • "git status" β†’ translate to Moroccan Arabic
  • "create a pull request" β†’ translate to Moroccan Arabic
  • "submit pull request" β†’ translate to Moroccan Arabic

Example of what needs to be fixed:

<!-- Current (English alt text) -->
<img align="right" width="300" src="https://firstcontributions.github.io/assets/Readme/fork.png" alt="fork this repository" />

<!-- Should be (translated to Moroccan Arabic) -->
<img align="right" width="300" src="https://firstcontributions.github.io/assets/Readme/fork.png" alt="[Moroccan Arabic translation of 'fork this repository']" />
